What is the amps to kW formula?

For DC, kW equals amps times volts divided by 1000. AC calculations also include power factor; balanced three-phase includes the square root of three.

Can I use line voltage for three phase?

Yes. Use line voltage with the balanced three-phase formula.

Does this calculate motor starting power?

No. It estimates running real power; starting conditions require separate assessment.

Can I use this for generator planning?

It is useful for a first estimate, then confirm power factor, duty cycle, and starting loads.

What is 10 A at 230 V?

At unity power factor it is 2.30 kW; at PF 0.8 it is 1.84 kW.

Are kW and kVA the same?

Only at PF 1. Otherwise kW is lower than kVA.
